Bluz House Rockers
New York State Blues Hall of Fame Members
About Us
The BLUZ HOUSE ROCKERS are celebrating their 29th year in 2024.
The Bluz House Rockers are seven veteran musicians from upstate New York, six of whom sing lead and harmonies. Although several members honored at being inducted into the New York State Blues Hall of Fame, the band’s broad repertoire ranges from Sinatra to the Allman Brothers. The band is at home playing in concert, at casinos and fairs, on cruises and at corporate events and benefits for wonderful causes.
They are honored to perform every January on the Delbert McClinton Sandy Beaches cruise into the Caribbean. Over the years, they have played at many casinos, including , Mohegan Sun (the Wolf’s Den), the Grand Opening of Turning Stone, Vapor Night club in Saratoga and Rivers in Schenectady. They have played all the major fairs in the region: Altamont, Saratoga, Cobleskill and Schaghticoke. They have performed at many galas: Cooperstown Hall of Fame Induction, SPAC, Jacob’s Pillow, Ronald McDonald House’s 30th Anniversary, WMHT, Wood Theatre and many more. BHR has opened in concert for many national acts, including Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Eddie Money, Marshall Tucker, Little Feat, Loverboy, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, John Mayall and The Turtles, and they have performed at the Times Union Center, Proctors, the Palace Theatre, Alive at Five, the Empire State Plaza Summer Concert Series and Albany and Saratoga First Nights.
Although BHR is primarily a cover band, their self-titled Bluz House Rockers cd contained mostly original tunes written by lead singer, Trish Anderson. Her song “Three Dollar Bill” went to #2 on the pop 100 charts in Denmark, and she performed her original tunes at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas on the Dennis Bono Show which was simulcast on stations through the US and Canada.
